Today I want to talk to you about the obedience that, as a result, brings blessing to our lives. But first, I want to tell you that processes will be part of our daily living and are essential in our walk with God.
We all face unexpected situations that take us by surprise, difficult moments that make us ask ourselves: "How am I going to solve this?" or
"What should I do now?". As human beings, it is normal to react by thinking of immediate solutions; however, in the midst of every process, God always has a purpose.
Purpose in the Midst of Circumstances
These circumstances do not happen by chance. They are opportunities where the Lord works to produce in us spiritual growth, transformation, and changes in our way of thinking, acting, and living. It is in those moments where the fruits of the Spirit begin to manifest and God's plan can be fulfilled in our lives.
But there is something fundamental: everything will depend on our decision. How we face the process and whether we are willing to let God transform us will determine the results of it.
The Call to Obedience and Free Will
When certain situations arrive, we must recognize that God calls us to obedience. It may be an attitude that we must change, a decision we must take, or an area of our life that needs to align with His will.
It is important to understand that God does not force anyone; He has given us free will to decide if we follow His will. This decision requires:
Trusting in Him and obeying Him.
Presenting our situation to Him.
Allowing Him to guide us.
Receiving the necessary tools to act correctly.
A Promise of Growth and Fruit
These processes from God are not negative or counterproductive; they are temporary and are designed for our growth. When we respond with obedience, our life aligns with His plan, and that obedience always produces blessing, as taught in Scripture:
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth (Deuteronomy 28:1)
Honour the LORD with thy substance, And with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, And thy presses shall burst out with new wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10)
Every process is an opportunity to grow, trust more in God, and obey. When we decide to obey, blessing is guaranteed because God fulfills His word and His perfect plan for our lives.
Now today I ask you: Are you willing to obey even if you do not see the complete solution?. Always remember: obedience is not always easy, but it is always fruitful. Today is the day to choose blessing over comfort.
