What Are You Watching? The Choice Between Light and Darkness

It is crucial to watch what we see. We must ask ourselves: are we observing light, or are we observing darkness? Darkness may be covering the earth, and even though with our earthly eyes we can observe how human beings destroy themselves or destroy the Earth, we must focus on ensuring that light enters through our eyes. Therefore, we must ask ourselves: what are you watching?

We cannot avoid walking through this earthly world and experiencing the destruction of the earth. But God, who is merciful and knows all things, has embedded beauty in creation, hope in destruction, companionship in loneliness, love in indifference, and so much more. Therefore, do not focus your gaze on the darkness.

Redirect Your Gaze Toward What Edifies

Redirect your gaze and lift your eyes now to what edifies, what builds up, and what shapes your behavior in a positive way. Invest your time in what makes you grow. Conduct an introspective analysis of your life. In doing so, you will be contributing to your soul, to your body, and to the growth that gives life.

Do not allow your eyes to be darkened by hatred, pornography, violence, or lack of love, because you will experience destruction in your body. Fill your eyes with reconciliation, modesty, love, and everything that builds up. Thus, and only thus, will your body receive the correct nourishment to face the challenges that life may present to you.

Give thanks to God for what you have and continue to seek all the good that comes from Him, so that you may light up your life with a different touch from the heavenly heights.

I thank You, Lord, for every opportunity of life.

For You are my lamp, O LORD; the LORD illumines my darkness.(2 Samuel 22:29)

Illumine my inner self, cleanse me from all darkness and all wickedness.
